Corinne Perkins – Plenty of Hires
Building Better Connections Through Better Hiring
For Corinne Perkins, hiring has never just been about filling positions—it’s about connecting people with opportunities where they can thrive.
A Black Hills native and graduate of Black Hills State University, Corinne’s career has taken her from owning a marketing business to spending years in staffing and recruiting. Along the way, she noticed the same problem over and over: employers struggled to find qualified people, and job seekers struggled to find workplaces where they truly fit.
Rather than accepting that as “just the way hiring works,” Corinne decided to do something about it.
That idea became Plenty of Hires, an innovative hiring platform designed to match employers and candidates based on much more than a résumé. Instead of relying on traditional job postings, the platform focuses on skills, culture, values, work environment, availability and long-term fit, helping both employers and job seekers make stronger connections from the start.
Corinne’s entrepreneurial journey wasn’t built overnight. After operating her own marketing company in Colorado Springs and Anchorage, she returned home to the Black Hills, where she spent nearly five years in staffing before transitioning into digital marketing. In 2024, she was recognized by the Black Hills Home Builders Association as Affiliate of the Year, a reflection of her dedication to supporting the local building industry.
Today, Corinne continues to serve the industry as the BHHBA’s part-time Workforce Development Coordinator while growing Plenty of Hires. The platform launched its beta in 2026 and has already helped facilitate more than 25 local hires, thanks in large part to the support and feedback of Black Hills employers.
Her commitment to the Black Hills Home Builders Association extends beyond her business. As an active member of the Workforce Committee, Corinne has invested countless hours helping address one of the construction industry’s greatest challenges: workforce development. Her work reflects the same mission that drives BHHBA—strengthening the local building industry by investing in people.
When asked what motivates her, Corinne keeps it simple:
“At the end of the day, businesses grow because of good people. I’ve always believed there’s a better way to find them, and when you get that match right, it changes things for everybody.”
Whether she’s helping contractors build stronger teams or creating new opportunities for job seekers, Corinne remains focused on one goal: making meaningful connections that help the Black Hills workforce—and the businesses that depend on it—continue to grow.
